Deliverable 2: Regular CBF Interfacing Plan
● Communication plan detailing the regular interaction schedule with CBFs, including upcoming meetings, training sessions, and other engagement activities.
● Record of communication with CBFs, highlighting key points discussed and any action items identified.
Deliverable 3: Support for Communication Translation
● Translated communication messages for CBFs and farmers, ready for dissemination in online communities.
● Collaboration record with Minnie and the farmbetter team to ensure seamless translation of messages.
Deliverable 4: Quality Checking Report for Apps
● A comprehensive report on the quality check of the project apps, highlighting identified bugs, issues, and missing translations.
● Action plan for addressing and resolving the identified problems in the apps.
Requirements
● A minimum undergraduate degree in agriculture, social science, or a relevant field.
● Graduate with 3 years' experience at Supervisor/Assistant level or a master's with 1 year of experience.
● At least 3 years of professional experience in community mobilization, climate resilience, agriculture, and agricultural development
● Extensive knowledge and experience in conducting training and capacity-building activities for smallholder farmers, cooperatives, and local stakeholders.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Nepali
● Able to travel to project sites for training and other project related field level activities as and when required.
● The candidate should have a track record of organizing practical demonstrations to illustrate the application and benefits of digital advisory services in agriculture, along with the ability to effectively allocate resources for activities such as mobilizing Community-Based Facilitators (CBF) and establishing adaptive learning networks.
● Strong interpersonal skills, project management expertise, familiarity with digital advisory services and agricultural technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment are essential for success in this role.
