Underwriting Compliance Intern

The intern will assist the Underwriting Compliance team with reviewing and organizing the approved state filings into the different Underwriting applications. 

  • Assist with the review and organization of updated filings in the current UW Compliance tools; Imageright, Vinyl, Knowledge Base.
  • Annual LCM project - research competitor’s Loss Cost Multiplier’s in the state of Maine and provide their findings to the MEMIC Maine Underwriting team.
  • Research competitor filings in other states per the requests of Underwriting.

Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing an Associate’s Degree or above. 
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite. 
  • Must have excellent information gathering skills.
