New Community Sales Coverage model executed in 2022 to establish 8 regions across the U.S. Each region has 4-5 Account Executives assigned to support local clients. The Community team is 40 members strong across the U.S. and a highly collaborative team.

Main purpose of the function
The Community team is responsible for creating a strategy to grow client and Visa revenue, while also strengthening executive relationships through identifying and implementing profitable strategic growth opportunities. With the new regional focus, the team will provide a local presence in the region and ensure Visa is visible in the community these clients serve. Positive engagements with local leaders, politicians, banking and credit union associations, and small businesses are critical to deepen Visa’s impact within our local communities.

Essential Functions
This is a sales support role within the U.S. Financial Institution Sales organization, specifically Community Sales, a team dedicated to strengthening Community issuer partnerships across North America. This Intern will be tasked with supporting various projects through multiple sprints.

Basic Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Communication or related field graduating December 2024 or later
Preferred Qualifications
U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $21.00 to $26.00, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
