This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.
The Role
UKIFS has been established as a subsidiary of UKAEA in order to deliver the STEP programme. As such, UKIFS needs to understand the wider economic, scientific, social, and environmental impact of the programme, is important not only for the current phase of work, but equally when bidding for further investment in the future.
STEP is dedicated to demonstrating the true benefits to the UK from the high level of investment being provided and is therefore looking to recruit a talented and experienced Benefits, Monitoring and Evaluation Lead.
We operate in an energising, complex, and mission driven environment, where you will be responsible for managing the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of benefits and impacts associated with our programme. This role will involve working closely with internal teams, our parent Department (DESNZ), stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that our activities are effective, efficient, and deliver maximum value for money. You will play a pivotal role in assessing the impact of our programmes, ensuring compliance with government standards, and driving continuous improvement in our approach to demonstrating impact.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in developing and implementing benefits management frameworks and performance measurement systems.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
