UK Sales Manager / Account Director

Costa Navarino Cluster Sales Team is looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Account Director for UK and Ireland in exciting role of promotion and selling three Costa Navarino properties: The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Navarino, The Westin resort Costa Navarino, W Costa Navarino.

Working location: Athens.

Travelling to Costa Navarino and abroad is required – aligned with action plan.

The UK Sales Manager/Account Director will be under the guidance of the Director of Sales. The job description includes proactive sales, representing company worldwide in different social and industry events, promoting the quality image and values of the company at every opportunity. UK Sales Manager /Account Director is responsible for maximizing rooms and “other” revenue, uncovering new prospects, driving business and maximizing conversion of business in line with the Resorts’ budgetary goals. Focus market – UK. It is expected for the candidate to have her/his own portfolio of accounts.

Main duties:

  • Manage a pre-determined number of key accounts/key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum yield in line with budgetary objectives.
  • Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is executed in a timely manner.
  • Thinking out of the box to increase market share through creative actions, event hosting and organization and hosting of FAM trips. Goal is always the same – be memorable, be different.
  • Working closely with Director of Sales, to achieve both personal revenue goals and the budgeted goals of the property
  • Proactively prospecting new accounts and following the sales process through to convert into ‘producing’ accounts.
  • Take personal responsibility to ensure Standards are maintained and that the system is utilized to its full capacity.
  • Maintain up-to-date activity and rate information for each account
  • To understand and be in a position to action any individual and group and events enquiries and ensure accurate hand over and follow up to Reservations and Events Teams.
  • To attend any trade fairs as a representative of the Costa Navarino Resorts, ensuring that that the quality image of the organization is portrayed, and that every opportunity is taken to promote the Hotel
  • Proactively organize Sales trips, Roadshows, live and virtual events, independently or using synergies with Global sales office and/or other MILUX brands.
  • To take personal responsibility for understanding the Marketing plan and the required budgetary guidelines of the Hotels, to enable empowered decisions in all rate negotiations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Marketing
  • At least 4 years of managerial experience in tourism or other service activity
  • At least 1 year of experience in international experience in Sales and Marketing department of an established Luxury Brand handling UK market.
  • High proficiency in English is required, any other language is a plus.
  • Structured, efficient and focused approach
  • Ability to multi-task, having excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Available to frequently travel domestically and abroad
  • Being passionate about the travel industry.
  • Being independent, yet having strong team commitment.
