About the Role

The Growth Lead’s role for UK is to drive growth in the market - with a primary focus on net new growth, and a secondary lens on helping enable organic growth within our client base. 

We need a  highly experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Growth Lead. The ideal candidate will be a strong connector between partnerships, growth, our local team, and various pillars such as content, data, media, and technology. This key position requires a comprehensive understanding across the entire digital spectrum, from technology, content production and data, to brand strategy and end to end social media. And of course a proven track record in sales..

Net new

  • Setting out a plan to create a min £7m pipeline of opportunities for the UK 
  • Setting out an events, PR and marketing plan to help drive increased external awareness amongst clients and prospects
  • Running all RFP/I/Qs and pitches, along with the UK MD and relevant capabilities, including negotiating on commercials to ensure we are both competitive but also delivering to margin KPIs 
  • Establishing strong relationships with our intermediary partner, to ensure we maximize the current relationship, and drive as many converted leads as possible 
  • Excellent knowledge of the market - with a clear understanding of industry trends, where are competitors are winning/losing and why, and a POV on English culture and where we can futureproof growth 

 

Existing growth

Work with client leads to understand where growth opportunities exist within our client base, and establish plans to help deliver to those growth goalsWork alongside capabilities to understand their growth focus areas, and map these back to our client sets to understand and enable growth within our existing portfolio Help upskill all MMUK teams by helping educate around our offering across all capabilities - enabling our teams on the ground to better cross and up sell to their clients

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales initiatives and ensure achievement of set targets.
  • Stay updated with the latest digital trends and technologies to maintain competitiveness and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with partnerships, growth, and local teams to align on strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Meeting the agreed upon targets (financial, operational, human resource, market)
  • Act as a public speaker and representative of the company in ways that improve our standing in the market and reputation.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive business growth and market share.
  • Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders and partners within the UK digital media landscape.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in various roles and positions within the digital media industry.
  • Proven experience in sales and leading small teams.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis, technology, content, and digital media strategies.
  • Exceptional knowledge of the digital media and adtech landscape 
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
