Homes & Gardens was the world’s first interior design magazine and is now one of the world’s biggest websites for anyone looking to improve their home or garden. Our global website has a bigger UK audience than any other home website in the UK, but because of its global nature, we need to aim to ensure that this audience is served with relevant, local content. Our newly-appointed UK editor will ensure that UK visitors have the best experience.

What you'll be doing…

To build the number of UK visitors to Homes & Gardens and ensure that visitors have an authentic UK experience. Working with the editor and other senior managers, you will boost engagement and audience size by delivering a content strategy for UK-facing content and completing it rigorously.

You will report to the Brand Director and work with partners to create an annual content plan, which delivers a mix of content that meets our goals - growing evergreen audiences and optimising content for Discover traffic. You will also curate a homepage experience for UK visitors daily. You will commission and create original content and create specific content on other platforms, in particular email.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

  • Relevant website editing experience
  • Excellent writing and grammatical skills
  • Understanding of and interest in the homes/interiors industry you can evidence
  • Team-oriented professional with a resourceful approach, excelling in an editorial environment.

This is a Hybrid role from our London Paddington Office, working three days from the office, two from home
