UI Engineer
Summary
We are looking for a UI Engineer to join the firm’s Knowledge Graph Intelligence team, which focuses on developing technical applications for investment operations. This person will spearhead the development of an innovative user interface, aimed at transforming the way users search and explore data through manual drill-downs and natural language queries. This role offers a unique opportunity to design and implement a UI from scratch, continuously evolving its features and capabilities in alignment with user needs and technological advancements.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to the creation of a user-centric interface from the ground up, ensuring the seamless integration of new features and capabilities over time.
- Work closely with the product team, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate their requirements into intuitive and efficient UI solutions.
- Architect and implement reusable front-end systems that facilitate complex data exploration, prioritizing efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee the planning and deployment of front-end infrastructure, ensuring a robust framework for building, testing, and deploying our products.
- Employ a proactive approach to identify opportunities for streamlining workflows, enhancing data visualization, and improving overall user experience.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their challenges, leveraging a human-centered design approach to develop practical solutions.
- Implement front-end logic that seamlessly interfaces with backend systems, supporting authentication, data loading, and secure data transfer.
What’s required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- At least 4 years of proven experience as a UI Engineer, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI development and design.
- Solid understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, extensive experience developing highly responsive and performant front-end interfaces using advanced web technologies like Angular, NgRx, React, and/or RxJS.
- Proven track record of implementing caching and syncing mechanisms to improve offline usage and performance of web and mobile applications.
- Experience with D3.js for building complex and highly customizable graphs and visualizations.
- Familiarity with SQL for database interactions and Java for backend integration.
- Demonstrable experience in advanced testing frameworks like Playwright, Jasmine, and Jest, and ensuring 100% test coverage.

The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$190,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things
