UX @ Guidewire is looking for UI Designers

Our team tackles various domains within the full life cycle of insurance, from building advanced UI’s and innovative integrations for various cloud products to claims to big data and analytics. We consider designing a team sport where, together with our colleagues, we strategically solve business realities and execute scalable solutions for enterprise and customer-facing applications.
Your day-to-day:
- Working independently but also at the direction of a Lead UX Architect
- Working collaboratively with Business (BA) and Development teams to drive out designs that align to project objectives and are technically feasible
- Working with teams to create compelling user experience in Figma following a UCD-led process
- Crafting and specifying the user interface style and theme to production quality aligned to our customers brand working with design tokens
- Working in an Agile environment following SCRUM methodology
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelors or masters program in: Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, User Experience Design, Design Thinking, or a field related to user experience design with an accredited college/university.
- 1-3 years of user experience design, interaction design, and user interface design in enterprise and complex business processes, insurance domain a plus
- Experience with design and collaborative tools like Figma, Miro, Photoshop, Powerpoint, etc.,
- Experience or knowledge of working with design systems and design tokens
- Excellent communication skills: 1)Capable of clearly communicating, in both written and verbal format 2) Strong relationship management skills are a plus
- Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills
- Have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Keen attention to detail is required
- Flexibility to work shifts as required to allign with customers and colleagues in AMER/APAC
