Director of Engineering – Tribe Technical Owner (TTO) 

Location: Warsaw or Wrocław

Now, we are looking for a dynamic Director of Engineering – Tribe Technical Owner (TTO) to lead our Corporate Systems Tribe and drive our next phase of growth. 

Role Overview:

As the TTO, you will be the technical backbone of our Corporate Systems Tribe, ensuring top-tier technical delivery and operational excellence. Your leadership will inspire and guide our technical teams to achieve productivity, predictability, and continuous improvement. This role is pivotal in collaborating with product organizations and enhancing our processes, policies, and standards.

• Technical Leadership & Delivery: Lead the tribe's technical delivery and operational performance, ensuring productivity and predictability. 

• Team Development: Recruit, manage, train, and mentor technical tribe members, fostering a high-performing culture. 

• Technology & Design: Oversee the design and development of applications and services, ensuring alignment with product goals. 

• Architectural Governance: Collaborate with the Tribe Architect on architectural governance, translating deep technical information into high-level overviews. 

• Quality & Standards: Establish a test-driven culture, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Drive continuous improvement in quality, agility, and operational resilience. 

• Inspiration & Mentorship: Be an inspirational leader, mentoring engineering teams and ensuring continuous development of competencies. 

• Innovation & Collaboration: Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and proactive monitoring of systems and tools. 

Collaborative Leadership:

• Prioritization & Strategy: Work closely with the Tribe Product Owner (TPO) and Tribe Lead to ensure that the right activities are prioritized. Together, answer the "what" needs to be done while the TTO ensures the "how" it should be executed. 

• Cross-functional Team Management: Several technical teams, including architecture, will report directly to the TTO. Ensure cohesive strategies and clear communication across teams to drive success. 

• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to align technical delivery with business objectives and create hiring strategies to build robust teams.
