The team:

The Treasury Team sits within the Finance Centre of Expertise and is responsible for the Group’s cash management (including payments and bank reconciliations), managing banking relationships and risk management.

This role reports into the Treasury Manager.

What you'll be doing:

  • Treasury Payments:
    • Manage and monitor Treasury Payments Inbox to ensure all payments and FX requests are processed as per the SLA’s
    • Create and manage Payment Approver Holiday Tracker on an adhoc basis
  • Bank Reconciliations and journal posting:
    • Ensure daily/weekly journals are sent to Finance for review
    • Ensure journals are posted and reconciled
  • Reporting:
    • Daily Balance Reports
    • Daily End of Day Payments Report
    • Daily Client Bank Account Report
    • Updates to Business Signatories
  • Key Controls:
    • Ensure Process and Procedure notes are updated periodically and fit for purpose
    • Ensure callbacks are performed with money market and FX providers in line with business policies
    • Awareness of payment and FX cut off times especially during foreign public holidays
  • Dealing with Treasury payment queries from the business – taking ownership of requests and dealing with stakeholders within agreed SLA’s.
  • Supporting on ad-hoc projects and audit requests

✅ Kyriba or any other Treasury Management System experience is desirable but not essential

✅ Basic Excel skills desirable

✅ Banking portals experience desirable but essential (HSBC, Natwest, Barclays, Santander)
