Treasurer

The Role:

The Treasurer will be a key deputy to the CFO with responsibility for funding, liquidity, balance sheet management and forecasting, cash management, capital management and market risk management (i.e. interest rate and foreign exchange). The Treasurer will serve as a strategic thought partner to CFO, and other members of the executive team in capital efficiency and ensuring that the company’s treasury function supports maximizing long-term and sustainable value creation. How You Will Make an Impact:

• Liquidity management, including the development of liquidity policies, procedures and reporting including early warning indicators and a contingent funding plan
• Develop a long term funding strategy and execute transactions to achieve it
• Responsible for structuring, negotiating, and managing all corporate debt facilities and covenants, while also determining appropriate financing strategies and capital structures. This includes accurately forecasting and reporting on liquidity needs, interest income, expenses, and related financial metrics, ensuring optimal management of the company's financial resources and compliance with all fiscal obligations
• Develop, plan, and execute a plan to maintain and cultivate effective integrated systems for cash planning and management, and treasury operations
• Partner with leadership to plan and manage the company’s ongoing capital requirements including the optimal uses of capital and evaluate alternative sources of funding to support company operations
• Oversee the roll-out and effective utilization of the Treasury Management System
• Manage relationships with lenders and other banks
• Lead the cash forecasting, reporting, and planning processes with FP&A and ensure the company’s cash obligations are met in a cost-effective manner and we remain in compliance with all financial covenants
• Manage movement of funds to meet daily operating needs. Liaise with Payment Operations and help develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs
• Monitor Lender Compliance Reporting and ensure compliance with financial covenants; actively update financial covenant forecasts with FP&A
• Manage financial risk related to foreign exchange risk and interest rate risk. Develop and manage foreign exchange and interest rate hedging programs as needed
• Provide the professional leadership necessary to build and maintain a "best practices" treasury department. Recruit, retain, mentor, and develop employees to reach their potential and meet the needs of the business today and in the future
• Ensure compliance with treasury internal controls and approve treasury standard operating procedures

What You Bring to The Team:

• B.A./B.S. in Finance or related field required. MBA or other relevant experience
• 10+ years of progressively responsible treasury leadership experience in public and private company settings with relevant scale
• Relevant treasury leadership experience with broad finance, accounting and business skills. Brings a vision for a best-in-class treasury function that partners with management and operating teams to develop and advance strategic plans
• Excellent balance sheet and cash flow forecasting modeling and reporting abilities
• Collaborate closely with counterparts in Finance and other key executives throughout the company
• Experience in the payments industry and treasury management systems is highly desirable

Nice to Haves:

• Advanced degree preferred. CPA, CMA, CFA, CTP are a plus
