We’re preparing for a busy 2025, so we're looking for two Travel Services Co-ordinators (Flights) to join our existing team on a fixed term basis to work predominantly on arrangements for the 2025 British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia. This role will focus on flight allocations and fare ticketing with major worldwide airlines, so you’ll need to be skilled in the use of GDS systems (Galileo preferred), as well as needing to utilise our internal booking management system (Tourplan).
This is a fixed term contract commencing 01 January 2025 and concluding 30 September 2025. As part of the role, we will need you to travel to Australia to assist with operational delivery (approximately 4-6 weeks in duration, in July/August 2025).
No two days are the same in this exciting role but on a typical day you will:
Co-ordinate travel products (flights), focusing on contracts and allocations, adhering to terms and conditions and commitment and payment terms of each supplier
Process multiple fare constructions in Global Distribution System (GDS) – Galileo, on both individual and group bookings
Ability to issue, refund and reissue flight tickets through GDS (Galileo).
Quoting and arranging travel requirements domestically and internationally for individual and group travel requests utilising GDS (Galileo)
Creation of all necessary operational paperwork (airline requirements, flight manifests etc.)
Assist when required with ad-hoc travel solutions for flight, rail and accommodation requests, analysing and researching best fares and routings with diligence checks on recommend suppliers.
Liaising with internal departments and suppliers regarding requests and queries for potential and confirmed bookings.
Co-ordinate incoming travel enquires and bookings.
Act as a primary contact for suppliers and clients, ensuring they receive excellent customer service
Reconcile all financial activity, pre, during and post event.
Travel to Australia to assist with operational delivery (approximately 4-6 weeks in duration, in July/August 2025).
Assist with out of hours support if required (additional details available at interview)
Assist with any other duties as reasonably required
