Our client is seeking a Transportation and Mobility Planning Manager for the Transportation Department in Culver City, California. This role offers an annual salary of $135,983 - $165,981, depending on experience and qualifications, with a scheduled 4% cost-of-living adjustment in July 2025. The Transportation and Mobility Planning Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing urban mobility, overseeing initiatives to develop a comprehensive mobility system for Culver City and the surrounding Los Angeles Westside communities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and advance the city's mobility initiatives, with a focus on sustainability, accessibility, and forward-thinking approaches.
- Lead and manage a team of five transportation planners.
- Develop and implement transit and transportation plans aligned with the city's vision for a world-class mobility system.
- Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive planning and project execution.
- Contribute to the department’s strategic planning and project management to address both current and future mobility challenges.
