Pix4D is seeking a talented Translator & Content Creator to join our growing support team based in Tokyo, Japan.

Pix4D is the developer of the world’s leading photogrammetry software for drones and mobile-based reality capture. Pix4D is transforming the way organisations do surveying, mapping, 3D modeling, reality-capture, measurement, and inspections.

You will be responsible for translating English materials into Japanese, and creating training content for workshops and online courses.

The ideal candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills, experience with translating content, expertise with Pix4D products and the geospatial industry (geodesy, photogrammetry, land-surveying, etc.), and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced and growing tech company.

Responsibilities

  • Translating existing content (training material, support articles, software GUI, etc.) from English to Japanese
  • Create different types of training content, including videos and course workbooks in Japanese and Korean 
  • Maintain and update existing Japanese content based on feedback and product development 
  • Understand Pix4D’s software and applications, and stay up to date with improvements. 
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within the scope 
  • Work effectively in an office setting and remotely

Requirements

  • Native Japanese language and fluency in English are required 
  • Experience in translating content from English to Japanese
  • Experience in creating manuals and training materials
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, multilingual environment 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Action-oriented, independent, and well-organized team player
  • Proven experience and knowledge in geodesy, photogrammetry, geomatics, drones, remote sensing, or similar is a plus
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, small, but growing technology company
  • Hybrid remote work/office work environment
  • The position is permanently based in Tokyo, Japan
  • Bachelor degree
