As a Training & Curriculum Specialist at Breeze Airways, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing curriculum materials for training aimed at preparing various workgroups for their roles at Breeze Airways. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating engaging and effective learning experiences that align with the strategic objectives and regulatory requirements of the airline. You will contribute to comprehensive initial and continuous training programs that ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and professionalism to excel in their roles, deliver exceptional service, and ensure Guest safety. The Specialist will ensure regulatory compliance, as well as maintaining and updating the training curriculum and footprint.
Here’s what you’ll do
- Ensure course content meets regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with the key stakeholders and SMEs to ensure standardization of curriculum materials
- Maintain classrooms and other training facilities in a clean, neat condition
- Continuously review company, industry, government, and related publications to keep current on methods, procedures, policies, and regulations including FAA, TSA, and DOT
- Participate in the development and presentation of any special department or company training efforts
- Maintain a personal appearance, conduct, and demeanor consistent with the professional, customer-oriented manner expected of flight crewmember personnel
- Instruct curriculum segments common to other training programs
- Prepare and maintain presentations and provide classroom training
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and scheduling of classroom training
- Train, motivate, and engage Team Members through digital content and through e-Module support
- Create and maintain content for e-module training
- Demonstrate critical-thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, reasoning, and multi-tasking skills.
- Develop comprehensive training curricula that address the needs of various team member roles and career paths within the airline.
- Ensure content accuracy, relevance, and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Explore innovative learning technologies and tools to enhance training delivery and effectiveness.
- Leverage multimedia elements, simulations, and gamification techniques to create immersive and impactful learning experiences.
- Collaborate with the Learning Management System (LMS) administrator to optimize the delivery, tracking, and evaluation of training programs.
- Play a critical role in training of Team Members to ensure culture and value fit and assess knowledge retention in training
- Partner with IT and other departments to make sure training material is always current and in the spirit of the Ingenuity value.

Here’s what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in instructional design and/or curriculum development for adult learning
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of this degree
- Solid understanding of instructional design and performance improvement concepts, design frameworks (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick), and adult learning theory
- Experience developing courseware in curriculum design software to current airline industry and adult learning standards.
- Ability to communicate kindly and effectively with stakeholders and in an engaging and motivating manner to adult learning audiences of all sizes.
- High performance orientation, ability to take direction, work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, work autonomously, and maintain flexibility.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging instructional content.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality training materials that meet regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
- Working understanding of Workday LMS, Microsoft Forms, Video creation software, and PowerPoint
- Customer Service and Customer Service tools Training experience
- Familiar with training PSS and multi-channel suites
- Type minimum of 50 WPM
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding and working knowledge of FAA regulations Part 121
- Experience with Navitaire and/or Gladly systems set-up and management
- Experience in adult education / training 5+ years
- Experience designing metrics and evaluation criteria consistent with Kirkpatrick’s 5 Levels of evaluation or Phillips ROI Methodology
- Previous part 121 flight crewmember experience
- Previous airline or aviation classroom teaching experience
- Familiarity with Articulate 360 Suite/SCORM/AICC compliant content creation
