The Kepak Group are looking to recruit the right person for a Health & Safety, Training Administrator role (Maternity Cover – 12 months) to cover our manufacturing facility in McCarren Meats in Cavan. McCarren Meats Unlimited Company is probably the oldest traditional pig slaughtering, processing and bacon curing company in Ireland.
JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the administration, training and monitoring of a high-quality site wide H&S and training plan in compliance with the group strategic plan.
REPORTING TO: H&S Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support the Health & Safety Team in the ongoing development and implementation of improved Health and Safety practices, policies and procedures;
· Manage and review the Health & Safety training online learning system;
· Review compliance reports and assist the team with KPI reporting;
· Assist the site training process, support implementation of the site training framework and track site training metrics;
· Support in the development of appropriate training programs and support the development of technical training content;
· Assisting trainers with training schedules to ensure the site is compliant;
· Assist the site Training Co-Ordinator to identify training needs at a site level including leveraging data from individual development plans;
· Communicate and provide vital information about training sessions and informing personnel about available training;
· Active involvement in the delivery of employee induction and other in-house training;
· Oversee and monitor the effectiveness of all external training courses/ program;
· Manage and maintain in-house training records, facilities and equipment
· Participation in site audit schedule
· General Office Administration
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:
· H&S/Training qualification would be advantageous
· Experience in the manufacturing industry is beneficial but not essential
· Written and spoken English fluency; a second language advantageous but not essential
· Full clean driving licence essential;
· Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office.
