ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Trainee Recruitment Administrator to join our internal Recruitment team at ii. As our Trainee Recruitment Administrator, you will be responsible for all the day-to-day administrative tasks whilst offering support to the wider Recruitment team with their recruitment activity. You will be a pivotal member of the team, ensuring the highest level of accuracy on data reporting, regulatory and contractual requirements all whilst contributing towards the ever growing success of the internal Recruitment team and the candidate journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Working with the wider business to assist them with updating the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and wider recruitment process
  • Assisting candidates with their application process
  • Inputting and manipulating data from our ATS to multiple Excel workbooks
  • Auditing vacancies on the ATS ensuring correct approvals, benefit alignments and the data are accurate and uniform
  • Sending communications from the ATS for jobs and offers in approval
  • Assisting the team with coordinating and scheduling interviews
  • Assisting the wider team with their reporting on time to hire, direct recruitment stats, and live vacancies amongst others
  • Cleansing the ATS to ensure compliance with GDPR
  • Assist with bi-annual preferred supplier list (PSL) reviews
  • Supporting the Talent Manager with administration in project work
  • Supporting the Talent Manager with the senior hiring candidate journey
  • Providing support to the Learning and Development team in line with the early careers cycle
  • Meet with newly offered candidates to check right to work documents on a daily basis

Salary: £26,500

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP:

As a Trainee Recruitment Administrator, you will develop the technical knowledge plus the professional skills and behaviours to work within our exciting and fast-paced Recruitment team, gaining valuable work experience plus achieving a qualification through a structured apprenticeship programme to kick-start your career.

Through the level 2 Recruitment Resourcer apprenticeship, you will learn the skills required to play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations in the Recruitment team. This training will be provided by Swarm Training, who will deliver the apprenticeship. Within your development program, you will learn and grow technical knowledge in the following areas:

  • Understanding the recruitment industry
  • Understanding the recruitment process from start to finish
  • Legal, ethical, and regulatory frameworks
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Managing recruitment systems and processes

By the end of the apprenticeship, you will achieve your level 2 Recruitment Resourcer apprenticeship, plus a Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing and a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing. Typically, the apprenticeship will take around 15–18 months to complete.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

To apply for this role, you will need:

  • To be 18 years old as of 1st September 2024
  • Be a UK/EEA citizen or have lived in the UK/EEA continuously for the last 3 years
  • To be eligible to work in the UK and not in full-time education 
  • Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) grades A* to C (new grades 9 to 4)
  • You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject
