We are looking for a Trainee Operational Specialist to join our Sourcing team remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and track employee workload data, ensuring that information is accurately entered into the internal time-tracking system.
- Make necessary updates or changes to the time-tracking system as required.
- Prepare and generate detailed reports on employees' workloads and timesheets.
- Perform various analytical tasks related to workload, resource allocation, and project performance
- Prepare and update professional profiles of engineers, capturing their skills, experience, and project history.
- Assist with resource management and allocation to ensure the team is appropriately staffed across projects.
- Work closely with Sourcing Managers and Project Managers to ensure the timely and accurate collection of workload data and the smooth operation of resource planning.
- Analytical mindset, critical thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage data, generate reports, and perform basic analytical tasks.
- Good knowledge of Excel (functions, queries, pivots).
- Good communication skills, particularly when working with different departments (Finance, Project Management, etc.).
- Technical, Finance, or Economics education.
- Intermediate or above English proficiency.
Nice to have:
- Understanding of database fundamentals, SQL.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc.).
