Flow Traders is looking for entrepreneurial, competitive, and analytical students to join our New York Trading team as a Trading Intern in Summer 2025. Spend your summer experiencing what it’s like to be a Trader at Flow in the financial capital of the world!
The trading internship will take place over nine weeks in our New York office, beginning in early June through early August. During the program, you will have the opportunity to explore your interest in trading, while being fully immersed in the excitement on our Trading floor. As an intern, you will get a 360-degree view of Flow Traders’ role in the financial markets, how our Traders seize arbitrage opportunities, and how they work together as a team to optimize and improve their desk. Together with your intern class, you will solve problems and work on trading projects with our Traders and Quantitative Researchers.
Previous experience is not required. We are looking for individuals with a passion for trading, who are looking to learn how they can apply their quantitative skills in a fast-paced environment.

Please note that the final round interview for this position will be in a superday format with the first one being on Saturday, September 14th. You will also be required to report in-person for this position at our New York office. Flow Traders will assist with housing and accommodations.

Where candidates will fall within the range depends on a few different factors including but not limited to level of experience, location, and specific skill set. We also consider ourselves one global team, and to demonstrate that, all employees are eligible to share in the company’s success through an annual discretionary variable remuneration allocated based on company, group and individual performance and contribution. Per the NYC Salary Transparency Law, the total compensation for this role includes a prorated base salary of $135,000.
Students enrolled in a university or college within the United States are welcome to apply to the New York Trading Internship. A similar program is offered in our Amsterdam and Hong Kong offices for students living in Europe and APAC.
