Seeking a B2 LAME Dash 8 classic type rated engineer to join our Engineering team, on a 22 on 18 off roster, covering the IOT, flights, accommodation and transport provided from captical Cities.
Responsible to the Head of Maintenance for the supervision and certification of aircraft maintenance on behalf of Surveillance Australia.
- Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and incident/injury free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the position
- Perform the duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance, documentation and certification is carried out and completed in line with the MOE, procedures manuals and responsible CAMO requirements
- Plan, distribute and oversee scheduled maintenance
- Perform, implement and maintain any required shift / task handovers
- Supervise maintenance personnel and support apprentices when required
- Ensure all maintenance certified is carried out in accordance with maintenance data
- Ensure Complex Maintenance Tasks are certified by an authorised Certifying Employee
- Maintenance and associated maintenance records are completed & certified correctly by authorised Certifying Employee prior to CRS issue
- Ensure Critical Maintenance Tasks are completed with applicable control procedure prior to issue of a CRS
- Ensure maintenance is completed, certified or deferred in line with the MOE prior to CRS issue
- Responsible for the general condition and upkeep of the facilities
- Compliance to the FRMS and WHSMSM policies and procedures
- Perform any other duties as directed by the SBE
Essential:
- Experienced LAME B2 or dual licensed
- Heavy and Line maintenance experience
- DHC8 Classic Type rating
- Current First Aid Certificate
Desirable:
- Confined Space training
- Working at Heights training
