Role
You will have the chance to be one of the most important people in a significant moment. Netlight is the company name that you might have not heard about yet, but we are on the path to being one of the most prominent companies in, not only Europe but also North America. This office is our twelfth organically grown office and we are on-site in Toronto with some significant clients in our backpack. You will be one of our local business developers who will be responsible for building and establishing Netlight in Toronto. You will be a cornerstone in building one of the most successful IT consultancy companies in Europe, with hundreds of tech companies as clients.
Your main responsibility will be around sales, engagement management and business development. The role involves:
- Finding and establishing new clients and engagements
- Manoeuvring existing client engagements
- Collaborating closely with consultants at Netlight to find a great match between Netlighters and client engagements
To fit into this role you will probably be a person who is driven by building relationships, exploring the tech market, helping people unleash their potential and shaping Netlight – an entrepreneurial mindset is key!

Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent (e.g. Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of working experience). Young professional / Recently graduated
- Verbal and written (native) fluency in English
- Based in Toronto or willing to relocate to Toronto
- Canadian work permit
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for entrepreneurship, sales, business development and IT
- Relevant experience, for example within entrepreneurship, sales, business development, start-ups, networking, or similar
- Passion for people, entrepreneurship, project management, sales and the tech community
- A good communicator, naturally building trust and connection
- Self-driven with an entrepreneur mindset, yet networking, having a strong inner drive with a great ability to cooperate
- Structured yet adaptive, taking responsibility for a dynamic learning environment
