Topshop is synonymous with accessible fashion, but we must increase brand awareness with our core customer. We are seeking an experienced and innovative, fashion-loving Social, PR and Talent lead to design and execute a disruptive organic communications strategy to build long-lasting brand excitement, customer acquisition and loyalty for the iconic TOPSHOP/TOPMAN brands.
The role is based in our London HQ and will report into the Head of Customer & Marketing for Topshop & Topman. You will work alongside a team of customer & marketing professionals to support our full funnel marketing activities, as well as cross-functionally with the design, product and trading teams. The Role
- Creating and delivering a disruptive organic communications strategy for the TOPSHOP/TOPMAN brands including Social, PR and Talent.
- Developing and executing creative ideas to build brand excitement and engagement with the target audience.
- Developing innovative social, press and talent strategies to support collection launches and broader brand campaigns.
- Identify and build a roster of press and social media influencers for TSTM to work with and build a gifting process to get TSTM products into the hands of those influencers.
- Designing, organising and managing brand events.
- Owning the content development relationships with TikTok, Meta, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat and other primary partners.
- Ensuring branded content is ‘branded’ – that it is identifiably TOPSHOP/TOPMAN.
- Managing and allocating budgets ensuring spend aligns to key KPI driving activity.
- Monitoring and analysing brand perception and reputation, providing regular internal reporting and recommendations of proactive measures to improve performance.
- Working closely with the Customer Care team to ensure that all social mentions of TOPSHOP/TOPMAN are reviewed and responded to appropriately and that the tone and content is on-brand and customer-centric.
- Proactive, creative and innovative with track record of building brand excitement and customer engagement through social channels and influencer relationships.
- Worked in creative and data orientated organisations and able to confidently communicate customer and channel data at a senior level.
- Proven track record of inspiring creativity within the fashion sector.
- Strong editorial sensibilities, from setting tone to having great taste when it comes to ensuring content is on tone.
- Strong understanding of creative brand strategy with relevant experience helping to define and build brands.
- Agency and/or brand experience with focus on fashion.
- Responsibility and experience of working with and effectively managing large projects and budgets. Cost and efficiency aware.
- Strong communication skills and desire to work collaboratively with broader customer marketing team and cross-functionally with design, product and trading teams to support short-term and long-term goals.
