Tool Crib Attendant

As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving, storing, and issuing parts, tools, materials, and equipment to support Operators in production processes.
  • Maintaining records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually or using a computer.
  • Organizing and sorting items on shelving, bins, and displays, removing packaging scrap and materials to maintain a safe and clean area.
  • Stocking and retrieving items and accurately maintaining a parts database.
  • Preparing periodic inventory cycle counts and reports and maintaining perpetual inventory of parts and equipment, manually or using a computer.
  • Receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming parts and equipment and tracking against purchase orders; coordinates with Purchasing to replenish inventory.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the Tool Crib, following 5S principles and ESH requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement processes , such as structured problem-solving, 5S, Gemba management, and standard work. 

Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • 2+ years experience in a Tool Crib or Warehouse role in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to continuous improvement processes
  •  Ability to source and research parts in manufacturing 
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
