An opening exists for part-time tipstaff who will provide office support to the Court Administration Department of the Blair County Court of Common Pleas as well as their internal and external customers by entering court-related data into relevant computer programs; checking and scheduling ARD Program approvals and rejections; scheduling pleas from criminal court events; tracking bench warrants issued, pleas taken, summary pleas, or cases nolle prossed at criminal court events; creating weekly criminal tracking sheets and weekly to-do lists; processing formal arraignment/preliminary conference notices from magisterial district judges and scheduling cases for ensuing steps; and attending criminal court events.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, communications skills sufficient to present information, and respond to questions from the Court, County officials, coworkers, and the public, experience working with and safeguarding confidential information; ability and comfort working with people of varied skills and backgrounds; computer literacy; and strong customer service orientation.
Benefits
