Purpose of Award
Tīheru has been developed to assist and encourage young Māori students to study towards a tertiary qualification and to pursue a career at Deloitte.

Selection Criteria
Ideal applicants will:
·        Have a good Academic Record
·        Demonstrated interest in studying and pursuing a tertiary qualification
·        Rangatahi Māori embarking on a higher education journey
·        Demonstrated strong interest in Māori culture and language
·        Demonstrated involvement in iwi and community activities
·        Be in their first year of university or have more than two years of tertiary study remaining

·        Statement of the motivation behind the application for a Deloitte Regional Award – Tīheru Recipient
·        Suitability statement – describe how you feel you meet the conditions and intentions of this award, specifically provide examples of:
o   Your academic success
o   Outline iwi / community activities you are involved in and what they mean to you
o   Outline your career ambitions
