  • Start from the concept phase of the project, simulate engineering analyses and optimizations in terms of electromechanical cooling for satellite modules and units, 
  • Develop thermal management strategies and ensure the existing designs meet all necessary requirements for satellite sub-systems and systems, 
  • Collaborate with the hardware, platform, antenna design engineers and internal customers to integrate cooling solutions into the satellite systems,  
  • Conduct pre-launch tests and correlate post-launch data with test results. 
  • Provide regular progress reports and propose improvements during development phases, 
  • Perform cost and efficiency analysis of the existing designs to optimize performance. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or a related engineering field, 
  • At least 6 years of demonstrated experience in the analysis, optimization, and performance evaluation of electromechanical cooling systems, 
  • Strong foundations in thermodynamics and heat transfer, 
  • Experience in managing and analyzing temperature fluctuations in satellite systems operating in vacuum environments, 
  • Ability to assess and address temperature variations due to different orbital conditions and environmental factors, 
  • Proficiency in thermal analysis software (e.g., Simcenter Space Systems Thermal, ANSYS Icepak & Fluent, Simcenter Flo Efd etc,), 
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools (e.g., Solidworks, Siemens NX etc.), 
  • Knowledge and experience in satellite systems, satellite payloads and related standards, 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, 
  • Excellent English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking, 
  • Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to identifying the most efficient and effective solutions, ensuring timely and well-informed decision-making.
