Job Description
Seeking an energetic, assertive, self-motivated and experienced Test Systems Development (TSD) Engineer. The selected candidate will perform hands-on electrical development, debugging and optimization in support of New Product Introduction (NPI) test station development. The main product lines to be tested are hand-held remote controls and home security products that contain features such as IR, RF, LCD displays, Voice, Feedback LED’s, Touchpads, Motion Sensors, thermostats, and more.
The position requires in depth understanding of the product features to be tested, how they are to be tested, and the reason why they need to be tested.
The ideal candidate will have a broad test background including, hands-on electrical test, mechanical control theory, software scripting, and a thorough understanding of how to automate testing for a high-volume production environment. Familiarity with common quality assurance practices for qualifying production test stations and methods a plus.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of five years of production test development experience. The engineer selected will be a part of the Test Systems Development team, considered the test experts for high-volume mass production test solutions within the company.
The position requires working with many functional departments, including international facilities internally and externally, with product design engineering, production engineering, quality engineering and operations, including the customer, during product development, NPI and mass production stages.

Responsibilities for Integral management system
It is responsibility of employee to know Integral management system policy and to apply on their daily activities
To comply with integrated processes related to Integral management system, and to know environmental aspects of his / her area and to support operational controls that apply to minimize environmental impact
To actively participate on Integral management system audits
•Hands-on electrical and programming test development to support automation for production testing of Audio, LCD Display, RF, Security, Touch Pad, Thermostats, and motion sensors.
•RF Test Tool Development including BT, BLE, WIFI, ZigBee, and RF4CE.
•Continuous improvement in testing following industry best practices.
•Support efforts on Yield Improvement, Cycle Time Reduction and Cost & Quality enhancements
•Document calibration procedures for RF and Audio tests at the development level, and transition the necessary knowledge to the production test group
•Support the transition of test stations from NPI to MP
•Create and provide the necessary documentation to guarantee a successful handoff to the factory
•Provide training and mentoring to junior engineers
Formal Education & Certification
BS in Electrical engineering, or related, English proficiency.
Knowledge & Experience
•+ 5 years in High Volume Manufacturing Test is preferred.
•Hands on test experience of Audio and RF products (Bluetooth and BLE) is preferred.
•Hands on test experience in GPIB/SCPI/Ethernet operation of power supplies, DMM’s, Oscilloscope, audio analyzers, spectrum analyzer, power meter, and wireless communications test equipment.
•Familiarity with electronic circuit design and NPI development process in preparation for mass production.
•Familiarity with fast design of hardware for product testing.
•Familiarity with Firmware, ARM, PLC, UART/HID control is a plus.
•Familiarity with quality assurance metrics such as Cpk and Gage R&R and how they are used in qualifying test stations.
•Knowledge of Six Sigma is a plus.
•Ability to work in a team environment and to demonstrate leadership skills
