At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Test Engineer to join our UniQue team in Strasbourg!
What will you be doing in this role:
- Produce test design specifications – test cases, the applicable Test Plans and to execute the test plans;Design test scenarios to ensure 100% coverage of requirements; prepare test cases (the ones which cannot be automated) and automated test scripts to test the identified scenarios;
- Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by the development team is defect-free;
- Execute the required test cases and analyse the results;
- Report on the test results;
- Coordinate all testing activities specific to the development team (unit testing, integration testing and FAT);
- Leverage automation testing as much as possible;
- Manage the testing tools, including automation testing tool, defect tracking tool, test management tool, etc.;
- Plan and control that any changes to the system are validated in accordance with specifications and requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the defined area of expertise;
- Minimum 4 years of automated and manual software testing experience, and experience with Automation Testing tools (e.g., TOSCA, QTP), Test Management tool (Qtest, QC), Requirements and Defect Management tools (Jira), Code Quality Review tools (e.g., SonarQube), Test Execution Monitoring tools (Splunk).
- Proven experience with testing technologies and tools
- Keen interest on quality and intense attention to detail;
- Ability to understand the functional and technical design of a given IT system/application;
- Ability to analyse results of testing correctly and to report on them efficiently;
- Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies;
- Capacity in writing documents;
- Ability to communicate effectively with development team;
- Good knowledge of English
