Job Title: Test Development Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

Type: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

·         Engagement with Hardware, Diagnostics & Software design engineer to define testing cases and create test solutions.

·         Hand on development and implementation in engineering Lab.

·         Develop and maintain Python SW test scripts using MFG test automation framework

·         Interface with contract manufacture(CM), Test Equipment & Modem vendors

·         Educate and train contract manufacturing TE’s on NPI products and test development tools and test procedures

·         Create precise test fixture calibration & product verification procedures for factory

·         Perform Data Analysis of Logs, Test Reports & Yield reports

·         Defining, budgeting, presenting and deploying MFG test flows

·         Present end to end product life cycle test strategy and plan to gain budget.

·         Self-motivated, willing to manage day-to-day tasks with minimal direct supervision.

·         International travel required for support product testing deployment and validation.

Minimum Qualifications

·         Bachelors of Science – Electrical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience or equivalent.

·         Some form of code writing experience:  Python or LabVIEW preferred

·         5+ years of experience in manufacturing of wireless and networking devices

·         Understanding of manufacturing test flow from SMT, ICT, parametric & functional test to pack out.

·         Understanding of manufacturing yield data analysis along with process improvement techniques like R&R, CpK analysis, etc.

·         Understanding of RF Conducted & OTA test and measurement techniques for manufacturing

·         Understanding one or more of 3G/4G, Wi-Fi, GPS & LPWA wireless technologies

·         Knowledge of RF test equipment like Wireless Test Systems, Power Meter, Signal Generator, Signal Analyzer, Network Analyzer, RF Switch and Programmable Attenuator

·         Ability to develop and maintain Python scripts with applied knowledge of OOP concepts

·         Experience working with or managing OEM/EMS/CM partners overseas

·         Program & People management skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams domestic and overseas
