Wachter is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in transitioning our manual testing team to a fully automated testing environment. This position requires a deep understanding of automation frameworks, DevOps pipelines, and experience working with .NET and Angular applications.

- You are required to work in the office 4 days a week, and have the option to work from home 1 day a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Integrate automated tests with our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Work closely with the manual testing team to understand existing test cases and processes.
- Convert manual test cases into automated scripts.
- Train and mentor manual testers in automation techniques and best practices.
- Collaborate with the DevOps engineer and Software Architect to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure automated tests are executed as part of the build and release process.
- Participate in backlog grooming and iteration planning meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and increase the efficiency of the testing team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in test automation using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in C# and JavaScript.
- Experience with .NET and Angular applications.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Previous experience transitioning a manual testing team to automation is highly desirable.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
