Who are we looking for:
OpenX is looking for a talented and highly motivated Software Developer in Test intern to help us with various projects. You will have a chance to work in some aspects of agile application development, including our highly efficient and available serving platform, and your opinions will be considered in certain phases of product development, starting from requirements to validation and deployment. You will assist other engineers to ensure that our processes are defined, documented, tested, and easy to use. So who exactly are we looking for? A passionate individual who’s curious about how to break what’s been built in an automated way and how our entire ecosystem works. Someone with a passion for software engineering and a willingness to apply that knowledge to various teams and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- As part of a cross-functional scrum team, contribute to the development of features that allow our internal users and our customers to set up their ad delivery to maximize revenue by creating and refactoring existing UI JavaScript tests-cases using Cypress framework
- Maintain the health of the codebase through appropriate refactoring and improvement of existing test deliverables
- Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the codebase by being an active participant in code reviews
- Ideally, we are expecting you to be available full-time (40 h per week) during the internship
Requirements:
- Experience with JavaScript or another high-level language
- You must have a basic understanding of web technologies and applications and be interested in expanding your knowledge of JavaScript and automation methodologies
- Ability to learn and navigate preexisting code
- Communicative Polish and English languages
Nice to have:
- Working towards a B.S/M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform (k8s, BigQuery, PubSub), Docker
- User-level knowledge of Linux/Unix systems/commands
- Basic networking (http, tcp)
- Database (MySQL or PostgreSQL)

- Internship Duration: July 1st - September 30th - we are flexible depending on our mutual arrangements
