Perfection Servo, a SunSource company, specializes in providing worldwide service, repair and remanufacturing in the areas of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos and mechanical components for various industries.
As Territory Manager with Perfection Servo, you will act as a supervisor to a team of Regional Account Managers, as well as lead sales efforts in a territory of your own.
Essential Functions
- Manage and grow established customers within an assigned sales territory, with the expectation of completing 20 or more face to face meetings per week, and open 2-4 new customers per month
- Maintain account records for an assigned sales territory via CRM sales software
- Supplement the Inside Sales departments efforts regarding follow up on quotes
- Work with all departments within Perfection Servo to ensure profitable growth of the territory
- Lead an outside sales team to grow the overall sales of the territory
- Developing relationships with Regional Account Managers
- Making joint sales calls with Regional Account Managers to their key customers
- Drive key company sales initiatives
- Time and Territory Management of Regional Account Managers territories
- Overall coaching for Regional Account Managers
- Weekly review call or meeting with Regional Account Managers
- Comply with company policies and reporting requirements and assure that all Account Managers in your report comply with administrative requirements of position.
- Maintains currency with respect to technical product-related knowledge and general sales management techniques and trends.
Experience, Education and Skills
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 4-year degree preferred (Technical, Marketing or Business)
- 3+ years selling value added services within an industrial environment (manufacturing or distribution preferred)
- 2+ years supervisory experience of a sales team
- Proven ability to motivate and manage a sales group is essential. This includes ability to obtain productivity improvement, and to help account managers achieve higher sales levels
- Fluid power technical training and Fluid Power Certification is preferred
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs
