Territory Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Sales Territory Analyst to manage sales territory optimization, partner with leadership on territory strategy, and manage ongoing territory changes.  In addition, the analyst will coordinate the setup of all “transfer of interest” and “enhanced agent opportunity” deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, experience in sales territories, and Business Intelligence tools.   

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for territory optimization.
  • Use data to segment open territories – “next best action analysis”.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and recruiting teams to align strategies and optimize staffing.
  • Conduct analysis for agency buyouts and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Deliver regular reporting and visualizations. Present findings and insights to senior management.
  • Manage and develop new cash flow tools for sales leadership proposals.
  • Assist the Onboarding Manager to coordinate agency expansion deals.
  • Prepare and deliver dashboards for operation metrics.

Essential skills for managing sales territories effectively include:

Strategic Planning and Execution - ability to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to specific territories. Proficiency in analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and adjusting strategies accordingly. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in sales reporting and analysis.  
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics. Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel, Mapping software, and territory visualizations. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Grade Pay Range: $58,300.00 - $91,600.00 with a target hiring salary of $65,000 - $70,000 (salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.)
