JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Terminal Service Manager
Department: Breakdown
Location: Boaz, Alabama
Reports to: Director of Maintenance
Principle Responsibilities:

Responsible for self-performing and managing the maintenance and repairs of a 12 Tractor/41 Trailer Rendering Fleet Trucking operation located in Boaz, Alabama.

Coordinate with the Terminal to prioritize maintenance needs and prioritize the shop workflow.

Manage to Key Performance Indicators including R&M Cost per mile for: Tractors/ Trailers/Tire Costs and insure all maintenance is performed within defined intervals.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to assess condition and identify repair and maintenance issues

Conduct A and B Services on trucks and trailers. Perform non-warranty covered repairs such as brakes, tires, and regular repairs on wear and tear equipment items.

Oversee the procurement of parts, tools, and supplies necessary for fleet maintenance and repair activities.

Maintain and handle accurate inventory for parts and ensure part specifications.

Coordinate repairs at outside vendors and Kenworth dealership for warranty repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs, repair orders, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, breakdown, and finance, to support the overall goals and objectives of the company.
- Assist in minor facility related repair and maintenance
- Close service and repair orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment in the shop
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of trucking fleet shop management experience. Leadership experience required.
- Working knowledge and understanding of DOT Maintenance regulations
- Self-starter, highly motivated individual, excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (TMT) or similar software for tracking maintenance activities and managing inventory.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on team building, motivation, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Class A CDL
- DOT Inspection Certified
- Strong organizational and managerial skills

Must be hands-on and be able to tangibly assist in truck maintenance
- Handle a fast-paced, quick moving environment
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Base salary range of $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 annually; and

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
