Temporary Reporter, Tech - Cloud List

Forbes is seeking reporters to support the team building the Forbes Cloud 100, our list of the world’s best private cloud computing companie. This will be a part-time role, approximately 10-15 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing sharp, compelling bios/blurbs
  • Commitment to detail and deadlines with high-level time management and organizational skills
  • Contacting list makers to update information for their bio
  • Fact-checking and updating existing bio information
  • Uploading edited bios into the Forbes database

The ideal candidate:

  • Strong writing and reporting skills
  • Research experience
  • Attention to detail in fact-checking
  • Comfort contacting sources
  • An ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time and to meet consistent deadlines

The hourly rate for this role is $25.00 - $35.00.

Forbes has estimated the compensation range set forth above in good faith.  The compensation range is what we believe we will offer, and ultimately pay, a successful candidate.  In determining this range, we consider the experience, level of education (if applicable to the role), knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be had by a successful candidate as well as the budget and the company’s pay rates, generally.
