The Role:
We're seeking a talented Technology Vendor Manager in a newly created position within Motorway’s IT management team! You'll play a pivotal role in optimising the value we gain from our technology partnerships, ensuring Motorway has the correct vendors to meet it’s existing and future requirements.
In this role, you'll leverage your communication skills to build strong, collaborative relationships with both business senior management and our technology vendors. You'll be a skilled negotiator, confidently influencing stakeholders and vendors to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
You'll possess a proven track record of implementing best practices for IT procurement. A strong understanding of financial metrics will be essential, and you'll use this knowledge to manage budgets, assess vendor proposals and identify potential financial risks. Additionally, your keen eye for detail will be essential when reviewing contracts, allowing you to identify key terms and potential risks.
