Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract a Technology Transfer Research Scientist (Production) to join our Technology Transfer team at Pharmathen’s Sapes premises.

 

As a Technology Transfer Research Scientist (Production) you will be accountable for carrying out and supporting all stages of a new product scale up through analytical method validation and analysis related to trials and process validation batches.

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

  • Direct and control the upscaling  and process validation trials and validation batches upon appropriate training
  • Direct and control the preparation activities in the production area required for the batch production
  • Contribute in the preparation of manufacturing documents (batch manufacturing records, protocols and reports)
  • Participate in the preparation of reports for scale up trials and process validation 
  • Adhere to safety and housekeeping requirements
  • Evaluate and interpret experimental data
  • Contribute in the preparation of technical directives for equipment

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Material Science or other relevant science
  • 2 years’ relevant experience in Scale up, production or QC
