Technology Operations Specialist

What you will be doing: 

We are looking for a driven, talented Engineering Operations Specialist with knowledge in technology to help us build our SaaS-based anti-money laundering solutions, which empower organizations to fight financial crime! We are building cutting-edge solutions that help create a safer world and stop money from ending up in the hands of criminals. You will work closely with the Engineering Operations team to ensure the smooth operation of defined workflows, as well as to provide insight and recommendations for improvements in operations and reporting. You will be able to juggle multiple priorities while remaining positive and flexible and can thrive in a dynamic service-based climate. 

As an Engineering Technology Operations Specialist, you will:

• Provide operational support to the Engineering Operations team, including block progress monitoring as well as vendor and timeline management
• Assist in preparing regular reports on technology and engineering operations, including resource utilization, and performance metrics
• Identify areas for improvement in technology operations, and make recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation
• Participate in regular team meetings, and provide input on improvements in technology operations and reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems and reports
• Support the EngOps team with ad-hoc requests and other operational tasks as needed

About you:

As an Engineering Operations, you will have

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Experience with Google Sheets (or Excel) for complex reporting (knowledge of Google Scripts, or interest in learning is a bonus)
• A curiosity and interest in operational efficiency and effectiveness
• A passion for delivery, awareness to distinguish between perfection and productivity - and confidence to seek clarity and ask questions!

Nice to haves:

• Experience of using Jira or Confluence 
• Experience working in a Technology start-up or scale-up
