As a Technician 5, you are in charge of automating data collection, developing and maintaining a dashboard, executing test algorithms following the standard methodology, ensuring the process objectives and throughputs are achieved on time, performing daily preventive maintenance checks and first-level failure analysis, and communicating tester outputs, issues, and other general concerns with your peers and superiors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of automation of data collection
- Work with an Engineer to develop and maintain a dashboard for monitoring tool output through time.
- Extract tester raw data and provide an initial assessment regarding the evaluation’s requirements.
- Execute 1st-level FA and track the repair activities of tools.
- Ensure that the overall test schedule is religiously followed.
- Communicate test updates and results to engineers-in-charge.
- Ensures all tool and workstation PCs are updated with IT-compliant software, including Microsoft Windows patch deployment activities.
- Monitor and maintain the deployment of standard test recipes.
- Provide a daily tester utilization rate based on each day’s activities.
- Perform routine weekly data monitoring to ensure that the tester’s output is within the acceptable control limits.
- Perform an annual gauge repeatability and reproducibility.
- Communicate with the engineers in charge about tester issues encountered during testing that may or may not impact the evaluation’s results.
- Perform inventory on test evaluation parts, tester consumables, and peripheral tools.
- Spearhead the tool/area qualifications.
Qualification:
- College-level or Graduate of laddered technology courses in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or Electronics
- With direct experience in dashboard maintenance in the manufacturing industry
- With 5 years experience as Technician
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in Computer Programming (any computer programming language)
- Applicants with knowledge/experience in developing dashboards or database systems.
- Proficient in MS Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Working knowledge of basic-level statistics and electronics (theoretical and applied).
- Willing to work during Sundays and holidays with a shifting day/night shift schedule.
- Interested in working on tasks that require attention to detail.
Preferred Candidates:
- Applicants with prior experience in handling vacuum systems
- Applicants with prior experience in device testing
