Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer who has a strong background in cloud computing as well as experience with various platform technologies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills, the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation, and a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, system architecture diagrams, and release notes. Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Create and maintain documentation for AWS services and related cloud platform technologies, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical audiences. Utilize version control systems to manage documentation updates and changes. Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to improve documentation quality and user experience. Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to other writers. Support the development of training materials and resources as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in cloud computing and platform technologies. Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies (Agile, DevOps). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
