We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Writer to join our team and play a critical role in supporting and advancing our Counterintelligence (CI) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT) operations team. This position requires someone who not only possesses exceptional writing and communication skills but also has a deep understanding of the intelligence community's unique demands.

As a Technical Writer within our CI and HUMINT operations team, you will be responsible for producing a wide range of documentation that is crucial to both the internal success of our operations and the external communication of our mission.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, including intelligence analysts, technology teams, and executive leadership, to gather necessary information and translate complex concepts into user-friendly, accurate, and detailed documentation. Your ability to grasp technical and operational details, synthesize information from diverse sources, and tailor your writing to meet the needs of various audiences will be key to your success.

To thrive in this position, you should have a strong background in technical writing, ideally within intelligence or defense sectors, and be adept at working in fast-paced, highly sensitive environments. Familiarity with the nuances of Counterintelligence and HUMINT operations is highly desirable. Responsibilities

  • Ensure clear and concise communication within the team and facilitate knowledge transfer to support ongoing operations and maintenance activities.

  • Contribute to transition activities, including reviews of existing documentation.

  • Creation of technical and business documents, including Functional Requirements Documents, Standard Operation Procedures, Marketing and Promotional Materials, Executive Briefings, Technical Manuals and Training Guides

  • Ensure all products comply with final publication, production, and classification standards.

  • Provide editorial support on existing and new project materials.

  • Four (4) year college degree in any discipline with five (5) years of work experience participating in technical projects or, in lieu of education, ten (10) years of experience.

  • Understanding of business practices, workflows, and style guides associated with technical development.

  • Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
