About the role
Appier is hiring a Technical Writer for our product team. A critical part of the role is a desire to understand the product inside and out. The role will work closely with our product development team and become an expert in our product functionality.
Responsibility
- Work closely with product managers to understand customer problems, market needs, and product usage.
- Develop a high-quality and comprehensive set of documentation, mostly geared towards customers and partners who are setting up and configuring our products.
- Work with UX designers to create user-friendly English wording for the product’s user interface.
- Help develop and improve processes for how content is created, delivered, and maintained.
About you
[Minimum qualifications]
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years in an English technical writing role.
- Native-level proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Fast learner who’s detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Fundamental knowledge of information technology, enterprise products, or software development.
- Experience working directly with engineers and other technical subject matter experts.
[Preferred qualifications]
- Project management skills.
- Familiar with the digital advertising industry and SaaS marketing automation products.
- Ability to speak and read Chinese is a plus.
