As the Technical Team Lead for Yuzee’s superapp, you’ll architect and manage the Ionic platform that fuels career transformation. Technical Leadership & Development (40%)
- Set the Ionic app’s technical direction, ensuring scalability for growing users, educators, and industry partners.
- Architect features critical to Yuzee’s mission:
- Skills & Career Pathway Tracking: Optimise performance for real-time industry trend updates.
- Integration Ecosystem: Seamlessly connect courses, internships, mentorship, and business portals.
- Cross-Platform Consistency: Ensure flawless UX across mobile/desktop for users, educators, and employers.
- Review code to maintain high standards (Ionic, Angular/React, TypeScript) and enforce security for sensitive user data.
Team Management & Hiring (30%)
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 Ionic developers, fostering collaboration between UI specialists and backend integrators.
- Hire future team members who align with Yuzee’s mission (e.g., developers passionate about EdTech, HRTech, or social impact).
- Conduct technical workshops to upskill the team on Ionic best practices and emerging industry trends.
Product & Project Management (20%)
- Prioritise tasks/projects that align with Yuzee’s core mission: Example: "Build a feature allowing businesses to flag in-demand skills, triggering personalised user pathways."
- Balance bug fixes, technical debt, and new features (e.g., vocational programme integrations).
- Collaborate with stakeholders (educators, career counsellors, business partners) to refine requirements and roadmap.
- Lead technical meetings (sprint planning, architecture reviews) and product syncs to ensure alignment with user needs.
Process & Quality Assurance (10%)
- Implement testing strategies for mission-critical workflows (e.g., course enrolment, mentorship matching).
- Document architecture to support Yuzee’s expanding partnerships (universities, vocational trainers, employers).
- Ensure compliance with data privacy standards (user career data, business hiring metrics)
- 5+ years of Ionic development experience (Angular/React) with proven success in scalable apps.
- 2+ years leading teams in fast-paced environments (startups, EdTech, HRTech, or superapps).
- Expertise in cross-platform optimisation and integrating third-party services (APIs, plugins, analytics).
