Position Overview:
Zones has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Solutions Architect, Cloud and Data Center to join our Team! The Cloud and Data Center Practice focuses on Products and Services encompassing On-prem and Cloud-based Infrastructure (Storage, DR, Backup, Data Protection, Compute, Virtualization, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Cloud and Data Center Security). You will report directly to the VP of Cloud Infrastructure & Data Center and be responsible for assisting the practice with solution design & architectural oversight, offering creation, technical innovation, GTM strategy and overall subject matter expertise.
What you’ll do as the Technical Solutions Architect:

The Data Center Solution Architect with expertise in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), Compute, and Storage will solution across leading vendors including Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and Nutanix. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex data center solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of various data center technologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements to design customized data center solutions.
- Developing comprehensive architecture blueprints that integrate HCI, compute, and storage solutions from Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and Nutanix.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in data center solutions, focusing on consumption-based models like Dell Apex and HPE Green Lake.
- Evaluating and recommending the most suitable technologies and products to meet specific client needs.
- Creating detailed project plans for the deployment of data center solutions, including timelines, resources, and milestones.
- Solution capability the installation, configuration, and testing of data center components to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards.
- Ensuring seamless integration of new solutions with existing IT infrastructure
- Work closely with OEM partners such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco for Joint GTM and Advanced Technology product solution and sales.
What you will bring to the team:

15+ years of experience in data center architecture, with a focus on HCI, compute, and storage solutions.

In-depth knowledge of Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and Nutanix technologies and products.

Strong understanding of virtualization, networking, and storage concepts.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Relevant certifications from Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and Nutanix are a plus.
