We are seeking an individual who can lead and execute global service sales activities for the APAC region with special focus on conversion, modification & upgrades (=CM&U) and complex service offerings in both direct and indirect markets. The role requires a high level of technical expertise, practical product knowledge and the ability to successfully communicate this in sales negotiations. Particular attention is paid to customers who rarely purchase services from INNIO Jenbacher or its distributors.
Your Responsibilities:
- Self-dependent sale of CM&U and complex service products e.g., special overhaul solutions, customized spare parts packages, etc.
- Lead and organize respective sales activities
- Lead negotiations both with customer’s technical operating personnel and commercial purchase departments
- Analyze engine / site condition and customer’s business model with the aim to find optimal service products
- Actively approach and acquire new customers to offer Jenbacher service products and solutions
- Support INNIO distributors in the sale of CM&U and complex service products, including technical consultation and finding suitable up-sell possibilities
- Participate in technical and sales meetings with distributors and its end customers
- Support commercialization and initiation of new upgrade products, gather respective market feedback
- Cooperate closely with Commercial Teams and Service Engineering to shape customer specific service offerings
- Actively and self-dependent follow up on sales leads both from distributors and internal organization
- Execute service sales orders through to handover to project execution team
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree with adequate working experience
- Very strong experience in a practical technical role, ideally with experience in maintenance, repairs or overhauls of Jenbacher gas engines
- Detailed technical know-how of Jenbacher gas engines
- Ability to analyze the condition of an engine to derive possible sales solutions from it
- Pro active, driving work attitude and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and strong sales capabilities
- Experience in customer contact with strong sales and commercial skills
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel (>50%)
