Technical Service Representative (TSR)

At Zensurance, teamwork is key to our success. The Technical Service Representative (TSR) will work with our Operations team to ensure processes and system documentation are followed and updated. They will strive to assist the team in updating clients' insurance requests. 

This is a hybrid role. This position will be required to attend the office (Downtown Toronto) at minimum 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Receive & distribute notices and other third-party communications from our team email boxes.
  • Manage and distribute website inquiries.
  • Manage all mail processes, including registered mail and scanning letters to send to appropriate brokers.
  • Triage emails and voicemails that are not assigned to brokers.
  • Carefully review all new billing contract data for accuracy.
  • Review, upload and release policy documents to clients.
  • Schedule automated messages to clients on behalf of brokers.
  • Call customers & insurance partners for non-insurance-related matters as needed.
  • Process cancellations as needed. Ensure Auto-Renewal quote notes & statuses are accurate and updated as needed.
  • Ensure files have been completed in accordance with our internal guidelines.
  • Recommend operational improvements in our processes to help further improve the overall customer experience.
  • Proactively liaise with insurance partners to improve communication and workflows to streamline our processes.
  • Assist with clean-up projects to ensure files are accurate and processes have been followed.
  • Monitor and act on applicable Alerts within our existing Slack channel groups.
  • Review and maintain policy reports on a weekly basis.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience working with administrative tasks or data entry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent client service orientation for both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced deadline-driven environment. Ability to multitask and deliver on time and quality.
  • A team player with strong work ethics and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to proactively take initiative and learn quickly.
  • Experience with Zoom, Google Workplace, Slack or similar office software.

Nice to have

  • Insurance background of any type (no insurance license required)
  • Data entry/analytics background
