QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in a food science related field preferred but not required.
· Up to 3 years of QA experience in a food processing environment.
· Experience with claims
· Excellent customer service skills
· Proven leadership experience
· Knowledge of beef product auditing and statistical process control
· Demonstrated knowledge of the microbiological aspects of food safety
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate and supervise pre-operation examination, verifying cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and facilities.
· Resolve problems and issues with product quality.
· Communicate frequently with USDA inspectors regarding product, employees, safety, etc.
· Coordinate and participate in product displays for tours and other events.
· Oversee claims, label approvals, product specifications, and quality auditing
