Your responsibility

  • As Technical Sales Manager Line Solutions you’re responsible for developing the sales of our seamless process solutions that combine the know how and equipment of Syntegon’s different sites.  
  • You’re the contact point for our regional sales organization to support the ‘Lead-to-Order’ process for Line Solutions. To support the ‘Lead-to-Order’ process you understand the needs of the customer and orchestrate the contribution of the different sites to offer a seamless solution.

Your tasks

  • You are a reliable contact partner for our production sites, sales offices, and customers, for technical and commercial support for our seamless line solutions projects within the Business Unit Food Vertical.
  • You drive to meet the targets for line project sales on a global level.
  • You are a Sales promoter, knowledge center and spokesmen for line project sales.
  • You steer the regional sales to the right sweet spots.
  • You lead the different sales phases for the line solution project sales to maximize the hit rate and manage risk.
  • You provide market information, define the Go-to-Market and positioning of the existing machine portfolio. You also push innovations for line solutions projects based on your application knowledge.
  • You initiate and drive the development of sales tools for our regional front-line sales.
  • Bachelor or Master in an engineering education complemented with commercial education and/or a Bachelor in a commercial direction with sufficient and provable affinity with technology and engineering.  Strong Project Sales skills are requested.
  • Customer oriented with excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial commercial attitude.
  • Experience in international line project sales.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken. Additional languages like German, French, Spanish, Dutch would be beneficial.
  • A 9 to 5 mentality does not fit this position.
  • Eagerness to understand and promote the full Syntegon food portfolio and for that reason regular on-site presence in different locations is needed.
  • Willingness to travel regularly (at least 50%) to meet customers for project meetings but also be on site at the relevant production locations.
