Technical Project Manager – ML Data Collection
Job Description:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that data collection activities align with overall project goals and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Gather detailed project requirements and create projects plans, including timelines, milestones, and task assignments, to successfully deliver on those requirements
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and cross-functional issues proactively.
- Implement robust project tracking mechanisms and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to data quality standards and best practices throughout the data collection lifecycle.
Team and Operations Management:
- Lead a team of data collection specialists, providing guidance and support.
- Optimizing team workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Manage lab spaces, equipment, and resources effectively.
- Oversee device management
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and expertise.
Technical Skills and Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering high volume data collection projects
- Strong understanding of data collection methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Good working knowledge of Linux command line and software build processes.
- Familiarity with mobile device usage and management.
- Experience with task tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
